Sarah creates fashion illustration portraits of your guests at A5 size using Copic marker, coloured pencil and watercolour. Sketches are handed to your guests with backing card and luxury white envelopes or cellophane pouches if preferred.

Depending on the style and whether or not we use a template outline, Sarah sketches between 6 and 12 guests per hour. 

Normally for a larger event like a wedding, we would use a mix of template outlines and from scratch. You can expect 10 guests sketched per hour. 

Sarah can sketch groups too but the timing still works out at around 10 guests sketched per hour, no matter whether it’s family groups, solo or couples.

We can use two approaches to manage large events. We can comfortably handle events with hundreds of guests using these methods.

Firstly, Sarah has a team of illustrators that can sketch at you’re event, allowing you to double, triple the sketch output (or even more) during your event. Each artist has their own style but follows the same approach of fashion first and to make your guests feel special.

Secondly, Sarah can take photos and continue to sketch from the studio after the event, returning sketches to in the next 2 weeks with backing card and luxury white envelopes ready for you to share with your guests. 

Absolutely, whether it is a simple logo or a completely bespoke design, Sarah can create a custom template as part of your quote so that the sketches fit with your overall creative vision.

We are regularly in Melbourne, Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, regional Victoria, Sydney, regional NSW, Hunter Valley, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth.

We charge travel at cost and try to secure the best deal by booking early. If you have accommodation booked for suppliers we are always happy to loop into your plans too.

We will have completed the prep work with you in advance so  that on the day we will arrive, start taking photos and start sketching. Feel free to come over to us when YOU are ready, we will be sketching your guest already.

Your event planner will just need to source a table and a chair. We recommend a table about trestle table sized so that we can lay out sketches for your guests to come and see.

Absolutely! If you’d rather we focused the time on creating a sketch from the ceremony, we can do that. We can sketch key moments from the day. We can sketch groups of guests that you select. We can do whatever you really want for your special day.

Absolutely. We try to only take photos that we know we can finish by the end of the event so that guests can anticipate if they will receive one on the day to not. But if you had asked us to stop at the end of the event (and therefore we dont have the extra photos ready for the after party service) then send us any photos you would like completed. We would be happy to complete for you.
